5 intimate gathering safety tips
The year-end events are upon us. Are you hosting a celebration? Let’s plan to enjoy our family and friends safely. As a wedding and event planner, my focus can be keeping clients and their guests safe. Now that we have yet another variant of COVID-19, Omicron, I would like to provide you with some tips and advice.
COVID-19 vaccines are one way to provide some protection against illness. Although there is no 100% approach to keeping safe, masks and vaccines are a great starting point. When gathering together for the holidays, ask your family and friends to share their vaccination status. Don’t shy away from requiring guests to take a COVID test before the soiree. I have experienced the uneasy feeling of asking the same questions.
Last year during the holidays, my family and I were COVID tested three days before Thanksgiving and again for Christmas. The last thing we wished to do was make each other sick. Things are slightly different this year, and we all have been vaccinated. Some of us have the Moderna and others have the FDA-approved Pfizer vaccine. Our gathering will include a few proactive steps. Take a look at a few suggestions to keep things safer.
- Air Purifier
- Mini Hand Sanitizers
- Touchless Antibacterial Soap Dispenser
- Microban or Lysol Spray on door handles, light switches, and faucets
- Clorox Wipes
